Our Heroes is the not-for-profit 501(c) (3) charity foundation of the
REALTOR® Association of Northwest Chicagoland (RANWC). Its purpose is to help our
Absolutely all (100%) of your tax deductible donations go directly to assisting our Heroes. Administrative and fund raising time/expenses are donated by local residents and businesses. If we raise $1000, then $1000 goes towards assisting Our Heroes.
We’ve helped Our Heroes avoid eviction and/or foreclosure. We’ve helped Our Heroes with housing payments, home repairs, security deposits, rent and many other home-related needs. We’ve donated to the Illinois Military Family Relief Fund. We’ve sent care packages to soldiers overseas.

Call us about donating clothes, coats, clothing accessories, shoes, purses, belts, sheets, pillow cases, blankets, towels, rags, etc. All fabric and clothing items are first sorted and items that can be sold go into resale shops. Those that can’t be sold go to a fabric recycling company who pays Helping Our Heroes by the pound for these items. So, we can even raise money for stained or torn items.
3. Call us about donating care package items such as hard candy, Twinkies, Hostess cupcakes, nuts, dried fruit, personal hygiene products, DVD movies, music CD’s, books, games, playing cards, school supplies, manicure kits, hydrating lotions, etc. Just about anything you can think of (EXCEPT FLAMMABLE ITEMS) can be sent.
